Earlier in this month, between 10 to 20 November 2021, Progresif together with Incomm collaborated in an initiative, supporting the Ministry of Health’s urge to the public on reaching the 70% mark of the Brunei population being fully vaccinated.
Dayangku Nusar Binti Awangku Majid, who won herself a brand-new iPhone 13 mini with Progresif Starter pack. She was among a total of 72,623 people that took their vaccines between 10 November to 20 November 2021, data was shared by the Ministry of Health.
The prizes were presented by Madam Cheng Siok Tuan CEO of Datastream Technology Sdn Bhd and Hajah Nurul Haniah binti Haji Jaafar, Chief Executive Officer of Progresif Sdn Bhd and witnessed by Haji Maswadi bin Haji Mohsin, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health at the Ministry of Health on 6 December 2021.
The ten-day campaign was well received by the public and had seen a quick increase in participation within the first few days. The draw was conducted virtually on Friday, 3 December 2021 and witnessed by Dr Hajah Norhayati binti Hj Kassim, Head of the Health Promotion Centre, Ministry of Health, Athirah Fakhriah binti Haji Awang Yussof, the Head of Corporate Communications Division, Ministry of Health, Juliana Sim the General Manager of Integrated Communications Sdn. Bhd. (INCOMM) and Junaidi bin Bahrum, the Chief of Sales of Progresif Sdn Bhd.
The rewards were part of a national-wide campaign opened to all residents in Brunei who were taking either their first or second vaccination dose from across all the vaccination centres.
At the same time, to encourage the Progresif subscribers to take their second dose vaccine, Progresif and the Ministry of Health rewarded those vaccinated at the Belalong Community Hall, Temburong Vaccination Centre with FREE 2GB data. To claim the free 2GB, Progresif subscribers must take a selfie, a photo of their identification card and a vaccination booklet and send it to Progresif as proof of vaccination. All shared information is kept confidential.
